Laser Therapy: The laser therapy, or MedX laser ultrasound phototherapy treatment, speeds up the body’s natural healing process by decreasing pain and inflammation, enabling you to return to a pain-free state. Our laser therapies are sold in packages of 8 treatments, and we throw in an extra two for free to accelerate your healing!
Custom Made Orthotics: Orthotic devices are specially designed insoles that are worn inside the shoe to control abnormal foot function and accommodate for pain in the feet, knees, hips and lower back. These are custom-made for your feet and modified to suit your particular needs. They can only be prescribed after a thorough assessment by our Chiropodist and can be ready within two to three weeks.
Nail Surgery: AFFC provides a sterile surgery under local anesthetic, performed to treat painful ingrown nails permanently. The procedure may include removal of a full or partial nail.
PDT (Photodynamic Therapy): PDT is a form of light using a light-sensitive compound that will kill fungus on the nails. Five treatments are required to kill all traces of fungus.
